Netrality’s 401 N Broad facility occupies an entire city block with its own dedicated zip code at Broad and Callowhill Streets in Philadelphia’s Center City District. It is located at the epicenter of the edge, home to extensive long-haul and metro fiber routes, and is a major junction for the north-south domestic fiber routes on the east coast. Our facility provides long-term stability, premier customer data center services, and a robust ecosystem of +90 unique providers, including 35 peering networks and 3 peering exchanges.

401 N Broad the Right Choice for your Data Center and Business Needs.

Connectivity. It has six diverse points of entry (POEs), a carrier-neutral Meet-Me-Room, and a core interconnection site.    

Infrastructure. The structure has ceiling heights of 12 feet (slab to slab), column spacing of 22 feet, floor loading of 200 lbs./square feet center to center, freight elevators with a capacity of 10,000 lbs., and a multi-bay, secure loading dock. The building is built on a flood-proof foundation outside the designated 100-year floodplain.

Electrical. The electrical system includes multiple 13,200 voltage feeds from Callowhill substation. It has an N+1 generator plant outfitted with multiple 4MW engines. The entire plant and generator system is designed to support up to twelve engines, all hosted within the building. The infrastructure has a water capacity of 3,600 tons (N+1) backed up by generators.

Cooling. Our colocation suites are supported with N+1 redundant pumps fed from a central cooling loop connected to a 3600-ton N+1 cooling tower plant on the roof. Cooling across all data halls is maintained with N+1 redundancy from CRAC and CRAH cooling units. Customer environments are enhanced with cold or hot aisle containment paneling systems.

Compliance and Security. The facility has SSAE 16 SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 reporting, is HIPPA and PCI compliant, and provides our tenants and customers with 24/7/365 key card access.

Amenities. It features tenant meeting rooms, conference areas, a tech lounge, a 10,000 square feet event space, and secure onsite parking and storage.
