Business purchase expands the provider’s operators to a new market and adds to its footprint of nearly 3 million sq ft of data centre space.
Operator Netrality Data Centers has acquired Indy Telcom Center growing its carrier hotel footprint to seven markets throughout the US.
With the transaction, Netrality, a subsidiary of Netrality Properties, L.P., added approximately 205,000 square feet, 11 buildings on a 9-acre campus dedicated to wholesale and powered shell tenants and fibre customers in Indianapolis. No financial details have been released.
The campus features 13 metro network operators and seven long-haul network operators including Lumen, Crown Castle, Telia Carrier, Windstream, Zayo and US Signal.
The company said the current management team will remain in place to continue to manage the Indy site.
Indy Telcom’s Midwest location facilitates access to the fibre crossroads of America providing connectivity to Chicago, St. Louis, Columbus, Kansas City and Pittsburgh.
The facilities are also protected from hurricanes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters.
Kurtz & Revness, PC served as legal counsel and Morrissey Realty brokered the transition for Netrality Data Centers. Blackwell, Burke & Ramsey, P.C. served as legal counsel for Indy Telecom.

Netrality today runs over 3 million sq ft and 100 MW of capacity across seven data centres in six markets including St. Louis (Missouri), Kansas City (Missouri), Houston (Texas), Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), Chicago (Illinois), and now in Indianapolis, with the acquisition of Indy Telcom.
