As one of the most network-rich interconnection environments in Missouri, Netrality’s facility is ideal for AWS end customers and partners looking for resilient interconnect options, said the company.
AWS Direct Connect is now available in Netrality’s Kansas City facility, allowing its customers to improve overall application performance and establish redundant connectivity to the AWS backbone.
As a result of the deployment, Netrality is promising customers secure and private connections to AWS, facilitating “consistent network performance, lower latency and reduced costs” as part of their cloud strategy. The company says it can provide customers with high-speed, private access to any AWS Region globally.
The location is ideal for both AWS end customers and AWS Partner Network (APN) companies to connect, as it is said to be the largest interconnection provider in Missouri, including direct access to the Kansas City Internet Exchange (KCIX).
“This launch enables our customers to greatly improve the performance of their cloud-based applications,” said Joshua Maes, chief operating officer at Netrality. “We look forward to working with AWS to support the digital infrastructure needs of the region.”
In addition to Netrality Kansas City, Netrality also provides access to AWS Direct Connect at its 401 North Broad property in Philadelphia, PA. The company has additional data centres in Chicago, Houston and St. Louis.
